Title: Collaboration and Training Specialist
Reporting To: Program Manager- Long Term Solutions
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Employment Type: Full-Time

General Position Summary
The role of the Collaboration and Training Coordinator is to facilitate, promote and coordinate PWNA partners to effectively address community issues through collaboration, improve access to resources, and facilitate training opportunities on American Indian reservations. Primary responsibilities include implementation of partner collaboration services, high impact projects and integrated training programs, inclusive of assessment, plan of action development, facilitation, tracking, and day to day operations.

Position Specific Competencies

Coordination of Services
Provide leadership and coordination of collaborative services and training with attention to detail and organization

Cultural Awareness
Listen to PWNA partners and interact with all levels of program personnel with dignity, respect and cultural awareness

Focus Groups
Organize, facilitate and convene focus or collaborative groups on selected reservations and areas

Expense Management
Monitor, report and control expenses

Partnership Interaction
Effectively present information in a clear manner, respond to questions, and exhibit strong partnership building skills

Program Knowledge
Gail a complete understanding of PWNA program services and the issues those services address

Experience and Skills:

PRIMARY (5 traits that are most important)

Additional Skills
* Experience with and knowledge of computers, strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Excel

* Ability to read and interpret budgets and strong general mathematical skills
* Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in writing and to speak effectively before groups.

Work Conditions
* Extensive travel required, primarily in state.
* Work is performed under the broad direction of the Program Manager - Long Term Solutions with the majority of work spent in typical office environment.

Physical Demands
* Ability to continuously stand or walk for long periods of time.
* Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently.
* Ability to use general office equipment.
* Ability to lift up to 50 Ibs.

Work Environment
* May occasionally work in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees.
* May occasionally walk or stand on slippery or uneven surfaces.
* Will occasionally climb stairs and work off of outdoor surfaces.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred
Program of Study: Business or Education preferred

Experience Requirements
Minimum of 3 years related experience in Networking, Facilitation Management or Community Development.
Work experience on American Indian reservation preferred.
