Job Description:

To raise funds using a predictive dialer for the various programs administered by Non-Profit Charity.

Essential Functions:

  • Telephone
    • Contact donors to secure financial support for our programs
    • Answer questions that donors may have
    • Be honest at all times
    • Be courteous at all times
    • Dedicated space/small room at home that can hold computer equipment and whose door can shut for the essential need to separate work life from home life
    • Responsible for reliable internet-not paid or reimbursed by company.  All computer and phone equipment provided by company.
  • Program Information
    • Be knowledgeable on our programs and our organization
    • Stay up to date on program information and special programs as needed
    • Read & retain information provided about Native American issues so as to speak knowledgeably about current/past issues affecting Native Americans
  • Predictive Dialer
    • Understand and use properly disposition codes
    • Follow policy regarding do not call requests
  • Training
    • Keeping training manual up to date
    • Take program tests when administered

Experience and Skills:

  • Previous call center experienced required
  • Some sales experience preferred
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Ability to self-motivate and take initiative
  • Independent, mature thinker

Job Scope

  • Makes general recommendations but does not make decisions regarding policy and processes
  • Day to day direction provided
  • Information may be highly confidential and sensitive in nature
  • Regular contact with all levels of employees as well as donors, students, recipients and external vendors

Job Conditions

  • Full-time position, Rotating schedule with weekends off, hours 9-7:30 pm.
  • General office environment
  • Casual dress code
  • Long periods of sitting are required
  • Overtime may be required to accomplish duties
  • Occasional overtime required or voluntary

  • Hourly + bi-weekly bonus
